Kids love drawing mountain ranges on to their maps. \u00a0By doing this, they can see how mountains are a part of a state, a country or\u00a0a continent!<\/p>\n

We always include the symbol for a mountain on each MAP KEY on our maps. \u00a0That way students see the little iconic image and can use it on a map to represent one mountain, maybe the highest in their state, or to depict\u00a0a mountain range.<\/p>\n

\"Screen<\/a> \"Screen<\/a><\/p>\n

In our CartoCraze! Expanded Map Workshops<\/a>, \u00a0we offer\u00a0a whole category devoted to\u00a0MOUNTAINS<\/a>. \u00a0Each workshop \u00a0is a digital\u00a0file which can be used with a Smartboard or projector in the classroom.<\/p>\n

Students can explore Earth\u2019s mountain regions in great detail, with\u00a010 expanded map workshops and\u00a0over 130 activities.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Denali<\/strong>— can be sued with our ALASKA<\/a> map, NORTH AMERICA<\/a> \u00a0or USA maps<\/a><\/p>\n

Himalayas —<\/strong> adds information to our ASIA<\/a> \u00a0and INDIA<\/a> maps.<\/p>\n

Rocky Mountains<\/strong> —\u00a0works well with any of our USA maps<\/a> or our NORTH AMERICA<\/a> map<\/p>\n

Andes<\/strong> — work well with our SOUTH AMERICA<\/a> map or our MAYA\/AZTEC\/INCA<\/a> map<\/p>\n

Atlas Mountains<\/strong>— great for work with our AFRICA<\/a> map<\/p>\n

Great Dividing Range <\/strong>— adds information for use with our AUSTRALIA <\/a>map<\/p>\n

Mount Everest <\/strong>— adds information to our ASIA<\/a> \u00a0and INDIA<\/a> maps.<\/p>\n

For example, our ALPS file has interesting features about the St Bernard Pass, and its history, maps to complete, animals of the region, historical information, writing exercises, vocabulary, reading list and more. \u00a0These \u00a0CartoCraze! Expanded Map Workshops<\/a>, \u00a0can be used with a Smartboard or projector in your\u00a0classroom. \u00a0These files not only add to the large hands on activity maps we know you love in your class, but they add to other topics you are teaching.<\/p>\n
