It is important to capture the imagination of your students so they see the richness of the ancient cultures! \u00a0Sometimes finding detailed information about the ancient in general atlases is limited, but not with this book. \u00a0Within each of these categories, Mr. Haywood further divides into illustrated sections that break down the history into smaller units.<\/p>\n

For instance, the African Civilizations unit includes a rich introduction followed by individual units on Predynastic Egypt, Old Kingdom Egypt (with information about the pyramids!), Middle Kingdom Egypt, The Nubians, and the Carthaginians. \u00a0 Each of these sections has a clearly defines map and illustrations that reflect art and culture of these early civilizations.<\/p>\n
