At Maps for the Classroom, we want to help educators make teaching geography fun, interesting and engaging.<\/strong> To that end, we have put together many free resources<\/strong> – in a variety of formats – to enrich your lessons.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Inside the Earthworm University, you have access to 14 FREE geography mini courses.<\/strong> These courses feature videos from resident cartographer Jason Newton as he completes select maps right along with you.<\/p>\n

You will also find Map Challenges that are made up of 8 FREE mapping workshops<\/strong> in PDF format. Map challenges help students complete the preprinted map activities, and add information about geography, animals and culture. Use the Map Challenge activities to give your students a chance to write\u2014the files all support literacy in your classroom. <\/p>\n
